EWSN 2027 solicits original, previously unpublished work on all aspects of embedded wireless systems and networks. The conference operates a single-track technical programme with rigorous peer review, and runs two independent submission rounds, a winter deadline and a spring deadline, both leading to publication in the EWSN 2027 proceedings.
Submissions are welcome on, but not limited to:
Wireless communication and networking for embedded systems, including emerging standards and next-generation technologies
Decentralized and privacy-preserving intelligence in networks of resource-constrained devices (this year's feature topic)
Hardware, computing architectures, and platforms for networked embedded systems
Operating systems, middleware, programming abstractions, resource management, and services
Processing, storage and management of data in embedded wireless networks
Localization, time synchronization, RFID, and RF/wireless sensing (including joint sensing and communication)
Embedded and edge machine learning: on-device, federated, and collaborative learning; model compression and distillation to constrained platforms; hardware support
Edge–cloud/Edge-Telco-Cloud/Edge/Fog architectures, models and orchestration for networked embedded systems
Security and privacy in networked embedded systems and applications
Dependability in wireless systems, including reliability, availability, safety, and real-time guarantees
Incentives, trust and accountability of resource-constrained devices in decentralised networks
Regulatory compliance, data sovereignty and auditability of edge intelligence and applications
Energy harvesting, battery-free and intermittent computing, and sustainable embedded systems
Wearable systems and data processing algorithms
Modeling, simulation, deployments, testbeds, empirical and measurements studies, benchmarks, and experience reports
Applications in health, industry, transportation, agriculture, smart cities, the environment, and other domains
Decentralized and privacy-aware intelligence in networks of resource-constrained heterogeneous devices. Submissions across all of these areas are welcome, and work that speaks to this year's feature topic is particularly encouraged. Papers that advance one of these areas in its own right remain entirely in scope. Papers that connect an advance to the problem of distributing intelligence across heterogeneous, constrained devices will find a particularly receptive audience, including in the keynote, workshop and tutorial programme built around the feature topic.
EWSN 2027 invites workshop, tutorial and panel proposals across this space, from embedded and time-resilient ML to thermal-aware system design to molecular and bio-nano communication, and the keynote programme will reflect this focus.
